The XL assembled strip repair machine appears in the RUNNING equipment catalogue as an on-site repair option for long damaged areas, longitudinal cuts, lost edge rubber and cover damage. It is a repair press, distinct from a full-width splice press used to join belt ends.
Before selecting equipment, identify whether damage is confined to the rubber cover or extends into the fabric plies or steel cords. A press selection alone does not establish that a belt is repairable. Share photographs and the belt construction so the proposed repair scope can be reviewed.
What to send for an XL quotation
- Belt width, overall thickness and fabric or steel-cord construction.
- Damage length, width, depth and distance from the belt edge; include a ruler in photographs.
- Available access above, below and beside the conveyor.
- Required heated repair area and the belt maker’s approved repair specification.
- Actual site voltage, phase and frequency, quantity and delivery destination.
Confirm the supplied configuration
The quotation should identify platen dimensions, heating and pressure arrangements, control equipment, connection requirements and included accessories. Current dimensions and electrical ratings are confirmed for the quoted configuration; the catalogue image is not a universal specification.
