Wire Hook Conveyor Belt Fasteners
Discuss wire hook fasteners for a mechanical belt joint, using your belt identification, thickness and conveyor details to select a suitable configuration.
Fastener production footage from our supplied material; this is not a hook installation demonstration.
What you are selecting
A wire hook joint uses hooks installed into the belt ends and a connecting pin through the intermeshed loops. The hook, pin and installation tool must be matched as a system. Confirm the exact size and material in your quotation.
Send these selection details
- Belt manufacturer, material, reinforcement and belt marking.
- Belt width and measured thickness at the joint.
- Smallest pulley diameter and any reverse bending.
- Belt tension or mechanical fastener rating, where specified.
- Conveyed material, moisture, cleaning conditions and belt cleaners.
- Existing hook and connecting-pin photographs, plus installation-tool details.
Compare the complete supply
Confirm the hook dimensions and material, strip length, quantity per pack, connecting-pin inclusion and tool compatibility. Do not assume a visually similar hook will fit an existing lacer or pin.
Common questions
Can you choose the size from a photograph?
A photograph helps identify the construction, but measurements and belt requirements are needed before size confirmation.
Are connecting pins included?
Ask for pins and any required installation tooling to be itemised in the quotation.
Can these replace a vulcanized joint?
Confirm that a mechanical joint is permitted for the belt and conveyor before changing the jointing method.
